Finding extra time by waking up early?

In my entire life I have been struggling with time, even since I was a kid in school. Back then, I could not concentrate when I would come back home, it was already late, and I had to go to my English lessons, and piano lessons, and gymnastics… (Really, why parents do this to their kids?) so, I had almost no time and energy to study for the next day. I found that waking up very early, about two hours before I had to go to school helped me enormously and my concentration was crystal clear. I would finish my tasks 5 times faster than if I tried to do them during the afternoon.

Time passed and I forgot all about waking up very early. I was struggling with my time once again, as, I was working from home, trying to build my home based business, trying to please all my clients on time, trying to take care of my two very young kids, and trying to take care of my house duties… Really, time was never enough. And on the top of all that, if I dared to open the computer in the afternoon, when hubby had come back from work, there would be a great issue. He just couldn’t understand “why I am so obsessed” with my computer and “what am I doing all day”. Indeed, I was confused. I didn’t know either. Where all my time went?

I was introduced to “the miracle morning” by my mentor and business coach Adam Urbanski, because I was trying to figure out what is wrong with me and my time. So I read it and I remembered how it was when I was waking up at 4:00 to study for school.

Waking up before 6:00 am is not for everyone, as there are many people who are not morning people but rather night-owls. But still, the human being is created to live in the morning, and our ancestors who did not have TV or clubs and night life in town never staid long after the sun had gone. Waking up early in the morning really multiplies our concentration, focus and clarity, and it helps us do 3 times more things in the same amount of time, but obviously we HAVE to have been to bed early enough.

If you struggle with time and energy and you don’t know where all your time goes, I recommend you get the book. It is interesting. It gives some tips on how to wake up and stay awaken and it does have a point.
